Main purpose of role & level in the business:

As a WorkSmart Academy Co-ordinator (Senior Associate) in Kainos, you will have a key role in the efficient running of the Academy and the delivery of programmes and deliverables. You will be responsible for Academy Programme logistics, scheduling, document management, administration and co-ordination across Capability, Operations, and People teams. You will contribute to the design of the suite of WorkSmart programmes delivered by the Academy, and will deliver modules where required. You will support the Head of Academy in the management, reporting, and administration of Workday Certifications and training, administration of ecosystem processes for joiners/leavers, case management and triage, and invoicing/purchase orders. You will work closely with the Head of the WorkSmart Academy, as well as working independently and confidently to manage your own workload. You’ll support more junior members of the team and share your knowledge with them.  

Minimum (essential) requirements:

  • Experience of Workday ecosystem training processes and systems
  • Experience of Workday ecosystem onboarding/offboarding processes and systems
  • Experience in Training logistics, administration, design and delivery
  • Good customer focus, with experience in an external or internal customer-facing environment. Able to understand customer needs and build relationships. Able to understand when to escalate issues.
  • Clear and effective communicator, able to communicate with customers and colleagues with credibility and empathy, including in a remote working situation.
  • Good commercial awareness and sound understanding of project and business dynamics
  • Capable of working within teams and alongside customers, as well as on your individual tasks with no supervision
  • Able to plan own workload and meet deadlines
  • Some consulting skills e.g., presenting, participating in workshops, explaining functionality or solutions to customers or colleagues
  • Able to apply all relevant standards and procedures to your own work, maintaining high quality, accuracy and attention to detail
  • Aware of the importance of confidentiality and non-disclosure policies and/or agreements and ensures security of information at all times
  • Willing to learn in depth about relevant subject matter for the development of Academy programmes and key activities
  • Willing to travel to other Kainos offices, to work with colleagues
  • Awareness of the Kainos story and wider business offering
  • Awareness of company strategy and how to support it
  • Able to come up with improvements in tools and/or processes to contribute to the development and smooth running of the WorkSmart Academy
