What we do

We drive innovation in the ways our customers need us to, cost-effectively, efficiently, and sustainably, enabling businesses and organisations around the world to realise the huge potential that technology offers to live and work better and smarter.

What we do

How we do it

Whether implementing digital platforms or creating bespoke digital services, we work in an agile way, working where, how and when is best for our client, building in enablement, sustainability and solutions that will continue to evolve with need and technology.

How we do it

Who we are

Exceptional and ambitious, Kainos people are chosen for their talent and their potential. We work interchangeably across services and platforms, enjoying life-changing work and using cutting edge technologies. We're supported, invested in and excited about the future.

Who we are

Our vision and values

At Kainos we work together towards one vision: to enable outstanding people to create digital solutions that have a positive impact on people's lives.

To make sure we achieve this vision, we share five key values. These aren't abstract: they are the behaviour we expect from each other every day, and underpin everything that we do.

All of these values applied collectively help to produce an outstanding Kainos person, team and culture.

How we give back

From the very beginning, our ethos at Kainos was to give something back to the communities we live and work in.

We do this through a comprehensive social responsibility programme, through which we invest £millions in combating our industry’s digital skills gap, working within local communities and schools to inspire and educate young people.

Through work with like-minded partners such as the Prince’s Trust, Code Club, and CCEA, we’ve created opportunities for over 4,000 young people to improve their digital skills and prospects in the last three years alone.

Our award-winning Kainos Academy bolsters our commitment to giving back, inspiring and

nurturing talent at any age or stage. Launched in 2011, the Academy comprises a range of training and development initiatives. Whether it’s our Work Experience scheme, our unique apprenticeship, Earn as you Learn, or the popular CodeCamp and A.I.Camp initiatives – there’s something to nurture talent no matter who you are.

This commitment to giving back has landed us a spot in the ‘Times Best 100 Companies to Work For’ for the last six years and earned us awards for our comprehensive, industry-leading training schemes and CSR initiatives.
